3-Day weekend and 28th Anniversary Banquet wrapped up in fine style
On Saturday May 18th 2019 Dinthill Technical High School brought Verdi’s banquet Hall in Westbury Long Island, to life with their 28th Anniversary banquet. The Evening saw MC Andrew Clarke getting all the guests to a fine and lively start with a host of jokes and short comedy
The event saw in attendance the principal of Dinthill Technical along with key honorees Ms. Kimberly Clemens-Jones from valley stream Presbyterian Church and Andrew Morris, President and CEO of Sam’s Caribbean market place.
The principal of Dinthill Technical brought us greetings and updated us on the key projects at the school. The president welcomes the quests and made special note that the audience came from wide and far. The batch of 1979 was in attendance large numbers as they were also being honored. After dinner then the Guest artist Mr. AJ brown, lead singer of Third World Band had the audience in his hands. He rolled from song to song with silky smoothness and the audience was in full appreciation of his wide variety as he moved from genre to genre. It was indeed a wonderful act of entertainment by the Guest artist and the quests were in full swing dancing to is offering
We all had a great time our guests were from Jamaica, Canada, Florida, California, Texas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Delaware Georgia, North and South Carolina, Massachusetts, Maine and of course the NY tri state areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Musical Entertainment for this formal event featured none other than DJ Roy from Irie Jam Radio 93.5 FM & Road international. The DJ had our Quests rocking into the wee hours of the morning. There were also lots of prizes and various raffles that afforded our audience various chances to win.
All the guest left the evening affair feeling fulfilled in more ways than one.
